Gilas and Clarkson Pilipinas will commence their campaign against the Dominican Republic at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on the first day.

Except for the opening games, all group games in the country will be staged in the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City and the MOA Arena in Pasay City.

The United States, which will compete in the Mall of Asia Arena, is the early favorite to win the tournament. In Group C, the United States is predicted to defeat Greece, New Zealand, and Jordan easily, without Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Due to health concerns, Antetokounmpo, the two-time NBA MVP, declined to participate in the World Cup.
